Relief
In 2008, Farthest Corners responded to assist with the catastrophic cyclone Nargis, which killed at least 250,000 people officially, although the real death count will never be known. In 2009, Farthest Corners assisted with rice relief during a famine that struck Chin State, when droves of rats cleared entire rice fields. In 2015-2016, Farthest Corners helped with flood relief in Saigaing Division and Chin State Myanmar (Burma). One of our most recent projects was helping to fund an oxygen plant to provide life-saving resources to those with Covid-19.
